Normally we rehearse in the band room but while the air conditioning and roof are being repaired, we are rehearsing in the Assembly Hall on the opposite side of the building. Use the Kingswood Lane entrance off of Northside Drive (next to the Church). The Assembly Hall is the football shaped building on the left. We will be rehearsing there until further notice.

Please join us in celebrating Chamblee’s Centennial on Saturday, November 17th, on the beautiful Oglethorpe University Campus, for a fun and fundraising event.
The evening will begin at 7 PM with a sampling of Wines of the World, a wine tasting presented by Maggie Meroney & Jill Alikonis. Maggie will be opening Nectar, A Wine Café , in Chamblee in the coming year and Jill operates the very successful and popular Palate Café and Wine Bar in Decatur. The wines will be paired with premium cheeses and delicious fruit to complement the wine selections.
At 8:15 the Band of America, an 80+ piece wind band will present a lively, diverse musical concert, conducted by Ralph G. Gutierrez, that is sure to delight everyone.
We urge you to purchase your tickets in advance because seating is limited. The Lupo Auditorium is immediately visible upon entering the campus and there is plenty of free parking adjacent to the auditorium.
Advance Tickets are $35 each, $65 per couple, and $20 for veterans and seniors 65 years of age or older. They can be purchased three ways:
- Via mail by check, as long as your order is postmarked by Nov 12. Tickets will be held at Will Call in your name. Please do not send cash. Check Payable to City of Chamblee, mail check to: Chamblee Centennial, 5468 Peachtree Road, Chamblee, GA 30341-2330
- At Chamblee City Hall, 5468 Peachtree Road, during business hours through November 15
- At the door on November 17th - for $ 40 each, $70 per couple, and $25 for veterans and seniors 65 years of age or older (cash or check only, regrettably the city is not able to accept credit cards).

The Band of America and Georgia Perimeter College Wind Ensemble will offer a joint concert 8:00PM, Thursday, December 6, 2007. Members of the combined bands will perform at Cole Auditorium on the Clarkston Campus of Georgia Perimeter College, 555 N. Indian Creek Drive, Atlanta, GA. 30021.
Slava Prudchenko, GPC Wind Ensemble Conductor and Ralph Guiterrez, director of Band of America will conduct a program including: Canzona
